Tenterden festival back and bigger than ever

One of the biggest free events in the Kent summer calendar - the Tentertainment open-air music festival in Tenterden - is back, promises to be even bigger than last year and is expected to draw huge crowds.

Last year the festival, which combines live music with food and family entertainments, attracted nearly 6,000 visitors during a single day. This year, running over the weekend of the 13th and 14th June and merging with a food and drink festival, organisers are expecting it to be very popular.

Event organiser Pippa Carter said "We are very excited that this year’s event is over two days instead of one and is combining the best of last year’s Tentertainment and last year’s highly successful Local Food and Drink Festival".

Organisers are keen to hear from anyone interested in helping out and from local bands and entertainers who would like to perform. Anyone wishing to help or get involved should contact Nigel Collins on nigelcollins25@yahoo.co.uk.
