Kent County Council cabinet reshuffled

Paul Carter, Leader of Kent County County, yesterday (9th June) announced a reshuffle of the council cabinet. The appointments will be made following the County Council meeting on Thursday 25th June at which Paul Carter's re-appointment as Leader of the Council is also expected to be confirmed.

Paul Carter said: "I look forward to us working together as a cohesive force to continue building momentum on our successful track record over the last 12 years at County Hall. We must continue to deliver improved customer focused services at less cost."

The new line up is:

Adult Social ServicesGraham Gibbens
Children, Families & EducationSarah Hohler
CommunitiesMike Hill
Corporate Support Services & Performance ManagementRoger Gough
Environment, Highways and WasteNick Chard

Public Health & Health ReformAlan Marsh
Regeneration & Supporting IndependenceKevin Lynes

Other other senior positions are expected to be announced next week.
