Police appeal after serious assault in Cheriton

Police are appealing for information after a 51-year-old man was found almost unconscious following a serious assault in Cheriton, Folkestone on Saturday 27th June.

The man was found by passers in Shaftesbury Avenue at 1am on Saturday. Police officers investigating the incident believe the man was assaulted in the Firs Club in Firs Lane at around midnight. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is currently in a stable condition.

Three men, aged 55, 33 and 27, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed while officers make further enquiries.
