A 31-year-old man from Sittingbourne has been charged with murder after the death of a man from the town. The 36-year old victim was found with chest wounds at a property in Oak Road, Sittingbourne, at 10.30Am on Saturday. Ambulance crews fought to revive him but he died at the scene.

Mr Robert Bygrave, of Harold Road, Sittingbourne, is to appear before in court at Maidstone on Monday.

Two other people arrested after the stabbing incident, a woman, 29, and a boy, 17, have both been released without charge.

The man who died has yet to be named.
