A 28-year-old woman who died after being stabbed in Greatstone, New Romney, Kent has been named by Police. Police have now confirmed earlier press reports giving the identity of the woman as Karen Martin.

BBC News reports that she died of a single stab wound.

Police were called to the scene in Hardy Road, Greatstone, near New Romney just after 10am on Friday morning.

A 43-year-old man, who Police say was known to the woman, has been arrested.
