
Jack Treeby died from
injuries after collision
Police were called just before 7pm after reports that two men had been involved in a collision with a vehicle and had been seriously injured. A woman was arrested on suspicion of murder that day and Police have today been granted a further 48-hours to continue questioning her. Officers say they are currently viewing CCTV footage from the area where the incident took place and are following up a number of other lines of inquiry.
Mr Treeby died from multiple head and chest injuries following the collision. The man with gun shot wound is said to be stable in hospital. A third man was treated at the scene for minor injuries having also been struck by a vehicle, believed to be a Range Rover, which left the scene without stopping.

Kent Police's Detective Superintendent Lee Catling said: "We are grateful to residents for their help with the investigation. Their cooperation has been vital in moving forward with our lines of inquiry and bringing together the many elements of this murder investigation.
"We continue to appeal for information however and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or the moments leading up to it."
